On a recent trip to Cyprus to lay a gig I stumbled across a tiny 6 string instrument in a bar, and fell in love with it.  The Greek Baglama (as opposed to the Turkish version) was created to be hidden in your coat at a time when Greek Bouzouki music was forbidden for being too political.  The day I returned I started to build my own version of this amazing instrument using a vintage tin and some glorious spalted alder I had lying around.
